How it Works

Flippant is a bookmarklet that will flip any site you visit, both horizontally and vertically. Along with looking nifty, viewing a layout from different angles can help you assess it’s effectiveness, and is especially helpful when designing for right-to-left languages (or vice-versa).

Flippant has 4 states:

• Click 1: Flip the site horizontally.
• Click 2: Flip the site vertically.
• Click 3: Flip horizontal back to normal.
• Click 4: Flip vertical back to normal.

Permalinking

Generation a permalink allows you to refresh and click through to other pages without changing the state.

Compatibility

Flippant works in Safari, Chrome, Firefox, and all IEs… theoretically.
